Oh hail yes.

One of the many things I love about living in beautiful Show Low is the thunder storms.
I love seeing the lightening and hearing the thunder roll in. It is really so beautiful! The days have been warm here, but as soon as the rain starts to fall it cools down significantly.
 I just love it.
Rainy days make me happy.
The other day the rain suddenly turned to hail! Being from the valley it is always exciting to see hail and watch these storms. Of course I had to snap some pictures!

After it started to let up Branden's parents took Jaxon for a bit while we went and played in the rain! We have this wash that runs along the side of our property and it is so fun. It was freezing and muddy, but I think it is beautiful. I can't believe we live in such a beautiful place.

Branden works so hard to make all of this possible. I am so grateful for all that he does for us. We are so blessed and I need to work on remembering that and being grateful for what we do have. Sometimes when it comes to Branden's job I am not always the most supportive. I like to think I am pretty independent and can be fine on my own, but there are just some nights I need to end the night with talking and cuddling with my husband.
but
This job makes Branden happy.
This job supports our family.
This job allows me to stay home and care for our beautiful son.
I am sure it isn't the easiest on him either. He has to be away from Jax and miss out on some family events. His hours are long and sleepless at times. The hours are spontaneous and rips him out of bed sometimes in the middle of the night. Then he comes home and takes care of me and Jaxon.
Branden amazes me everyday with how positive he stays. He goes to work without complaint and works so that we can live this beautiful life together.
I am working on being a more supportive and patient wife. I am trying to be better about showing him my appreciation for him and everything he does.
Branden makes me feel beautiful.
He makes me feel loved.
He makes me feel safe.
He is the most amazing and natural father.
He supports me.
He makes me laugh.
I trust him with everything.
He has many Christ like attributes.
He has such a love for the Gospel.
I always know that no matter what is going on in our lives, we will be okay.

So I guess what I am trying to get at is that I am not perfect, but I am so happy and we are so blessed. I am so grateful for Branden and the example he is to me and our son. He is pretty perfect in my eyes and I have no idea what we would do without him. Heavenly Father plopped him in my life when I needed him the most. I will forever be thankful for that. I am so grateful for the love he shows us and the work he puts forth to make us happy and allow us to have this beautiful home in the beautiful place.
So this kind of turned into a Branden appreciation post, but this boy deserves it.
I love you Branden James. Thank you for being everything I dreamed of and more! I couldn't do it without you.

Lake Powell 2015

For the past nine years my family has gone to Lake Powell.
It is a summer must for the Hebb family.
When Branden and I started dating I found out that it is a summer must for the Willis family as well!
That was just further conformation that I was suppose to marry that man.
This year it worked out so that both our families could go at the same time. As well as the Palmer family. It was just like a giant party! Loved being able to spend the time together with both sides.
Obviously this was Jaxon's first of many years at Lake Powell.
He seemed to enjoy himself...well as much as any two month old would. He was such an amazing baby. He loved riding on the boat, being outside, and swimming in the lake. It was a little chilly for him, but he only cried when we took him out. That boy loves the water! And we love him!
Branden made a fun little video of our trip. If you would like to watch it here is the link.

This post is mostly for the pictures and a have a lot of them! so enjoy(:

We had some fun with these metallic tattoos.

Denim adored baby Jaxon! There was endless kisses and hand holding from her. It made me melt a bit, I cannot wait to see these cousins all grow up together!

I am so grateful for my amazing parents and wonderful in laws for all that they do to make these trips possible for us.

{Jaxon}: Two Months

My baby is two months old! Well closer to three months now.
This has been kind of a crazy month so I am a little behind and have some catching up to do.
June 6th was Jaxon's official two month birthday. It was the day before we were leaving for Lake Powell. This little boy has done quite a lot in his little life so far. He moved at a couple weeks old, made the three hour drive to the valley multiple times, been to the movies, been to Saguaro Lake AND Lake Powell. We have many more trips and activities planned. Jax is really the best baby. He is fine just hanging out where ever as long as he is full and rested! I have said it multiple times and will say it many more times, we are so blessed to have this sweet boy!

H E I G H T & W E I G H T

We had his two month appointment this week and this little boy isn't so little. My poor baby had to get shots and it was the saddest thing ever. Jax rarely cries and when he does its a soft almost whine not even a real cry. Well we heard his real cry that day. Then there I am trying to hold back tears, but afterward he cuddled his dad a bit and was back to normal ten minutes later. He is tough and always amazes me with how great he is. I hate seeing this little boy hurting. This makes me so grateful to have such a healthy baby boy.
Anyway
Jaxon is 13 lbs and 2 oz!
He gained two pounds in a month. Love my chunk!
He is 23 1/2 inches long. He grew half an inch since last month.
Stop growing so fast!
Our happy boy after his shots! What a trooper.

His eyes are definitely blue and lightening up. He still doesn't have a lot of hair, but it seems to be coming in  darker brown. He'll probably stay pretty bald for a while, just like his mama!

D I A P E R S & C L O T H I N G
He is wearing a size two diaper. Those are starting to get a little snug, but I think he will be in a size two for a little bit longer. He has officially grown out of all his newborn clothing and 0-3 month. He is wearing 3 month clothing and even some 6 month. It really depends on the brand. He is getting big fast!

I hate all those things too, I don't blame him!

Still 100% breastfed. My body is finally starting to regulate so that makes things easier. No more rock hard/painful boobs. I feed him on demand and during the day he still eats about every 2- 3 hours. Again he is super easy and is an amazing eater!

S L E E P I N G
This boy is still sleeping a lot and I do not have a problem with it at all! He really makes his own schedule. During the day he takes a long nap in the morning and then a few cat naps in the afternoon. When Jax is tired he will let you know! There is no trying to keep this boy up. He usually goes down for the night at 8:30pm then he will sleep until 4-5am, eat, and go back to sleep until 7ish. I thought for sure he would be more of a night owl like Branden and I, but not the case. He is his happiest in the morning right after he wakes up!
We are trying to transition him to his crib, but it has been kind of tough. Mostly my fault because I get really anxious not having him next to me at night. Drives Branden nuts! I have had him sleeping in a rock 'n play next to my bed so that anytime I get up in the night I can see him. I think I am up more then him at night. He naps great in his crib, but when I put him in his crib to sleep at night he'll sleep a few hours and then wake up and I always just end up bringing him back into our room with us. I just like to have my baby close! Also I think he likes how the rock 'n play kind of hugs him, where the crib leaves him very open and exposed. But he is still young and we will get there eventually. No hurry.

Dearest Jaxon,

My sweet boy. You are growing up so fast. You have found your hands and love to suck/chew on them. That also means you are always scratching your poor face. You are always so happy, smiling and "talking". Especially when your daddy is around. You smile so big when you hear his voice after work. I must have 20 videos of your cooing already! You are so much more alert. Always looking around and wanting to see what is going on. You are so strong and can hold your head up constantly now, its still a little wobbly, but you are getting stronger everyday. You love to try and stand, but lets work on rolling over first. You have a tight grip! When something is placed in your hand you grab it and don't let go! I can tell you want to reach out and grab things, but you can't quite figure out how to do that yet. You love kicking and splashing in your baths. By the time you are done bathing I am soaking wet! You are so cuddly when you want to be, other times if feels like you are trying to squirm away! Jax, you are adored by everyone. I am always getting stopped and told how handsome you are. Of course i agree! Your older cousin Denim is always giving you kisses and loves to tell you to be happy when you are crying. She loves to hold your hand and talk to you. Gunner is still figuring out how he feels about his new cousin. He loves you very much and doesn't like when you are sad either. Jaxon, you are so loved. Thanks for choosing us as your parents. We love you more and more everyday! We are so very blessed to have you as our son.

Love,
Mom and Dad

We have the best dad/husband
Maxwell is the sweetest uncle, I have a feeling these two will be close.

Sometimes Branden is away at work on Sundays, so that calls for a shameless selfie to show dad how spiffy we look!

a name and a blessing

We blessed our sweet Jaxon James on Memorial Day.
5.25.2015
What a neat experience.
Since we just moved to Show Low and didn't really know many people in our ward in Queen Creek we decided to just invite family and close friends to my parent's house and bless Jax there. It was such a beautiful day! Afterwards we went swimming and ate some food, because in my family you always have to have food, thats how we bond. My mom always says "Food is love." I couldn't agree more!

Branden gave the most beautiful blessing. I am so grateful for him and the amazing father and example he is. I am so grateful for all of my family and friends who joined us on this special day. They have all been so amazingly helpful. We have the best support system and I could not imagine not having them around. We are blessed in so many ways. Love you all!
My little boy is growing up so fast and he hasn't even been on this Earth for two months! He is such a happy little boy, always smiling and just 'talking' to whoever/whatever will listen. We love having his sweet spirit in our home. There is nothing like having a fresh little Angel from Heaven. I wish he could stay little forever, but I also cannot wait to see him learn and grow. I love being his mom more then anything and am so excited to see what the future has in store.

My camera was only letting me take a limited amount of pictures. So I don't have many, which is probably a good thing, but I got the important ones!

Thank you everyone who took the time out of their day to come join us.

 All the grandma greats!

I would like to take a moment to thank all those who have sacrificed their lives fighting for our country.  As well as those who are currently fighting or have fought, Thank You. Thank you and your sweet families.
