Too Pure, too lovely, to live on earth...

I cannot believe it has been three years since our family lost such a beautiful baby boy, son, nephew, cousin and grandchild.  Sometimes as hard as it is to accept I know that our Heavenly Father took Ollie because he was needed back with him. Our precious Ollie was too beautiful to be tainted by the evils of this world. Ollie touched many lives with his short time here on Earth and even after he continues to touch many others. He did what he was sent here to do. Obviously we would all love to have kept him longer, to cherish him more, kiss his sweet face one more time. I do know that him and his parents will be reunited again, that we will all be able to see our sweet Ollie Kai again. Until then we have to keep Faith and live our lives in such a way to make him proud. My thoughts and prayers are with his parents always, but especially today, they have shown strength way beyond what I thought was possible.
I can't help but to think of Ollie up there with my little boy and possibly my other future children. Playing with them, teaching and preparing them for this earthly life.
Love you Ollie boy.

"The Lord takes many (children) away even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on this earth...we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil and we shall soon have them again."

Viva El Mexico!

A while back my parents invited Branden and I to go to Rocky Point with them during the kid's Spring Break. Of course we really wanted to go, but the thought of being in a different country and my due date only being 15 days away was kind of scary so we just decided we would stay home.

Well, two days before they were suppose to leave we decided we were going to tag along! I just thought I would really listen to my body and if I started to not feel good for any reason we would just come home. Obviously Jax felt very comfortable and stayed in while we were gone and he is still sitting very comfortably in there. It was a blast and we had so much fun with family and friends. Got lots of beach time and ate loads of great Mexican food! It was a great last minute vacation before kids.
Now for pictures!
*The pictures loaded a little grainy. Sorry about that.
My amazing mother scored us this awesome condo with an amazing view off the balcony!
Thanks to the Aldous' for the fun toys!
 The crew!
Luckily Branden had Alyssa to hang out with when I couldn't get my lazy bum up!
 oh my cute sisters.
Father and Son fishing. We missed Trevor lots on this trip!
 Maxwell caught a sea bird!
 My cute parents!
Definitely think Branden was a model in another life. Love him. His corn rows and all!
Went on a nice jet ski ride.
Until next time Mexico!

Waiting...

Thirty- Seven Weeks!
I am officially considered full term.
Now come on out Jax we are ready for you!

I've heard the last few weeks of pregnancy are brutal and I get it now. I want nothing more to meet our baby boy. I cannot wait to see what he will look like! Bald and chunky like me? Will he look just like Branden? With those stunning blue eyes and adorable blonde hair? Will he get the 'Hebb Nose'?
Ah! Just so excited, I probably tell Branden this about 100+ times a day!
Of course I only want him to come when he is ready. Hopefully that's not too much longer. I think three more weeks is about all I can handle. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so we will have to wait and see what he thinks!

For now I will Nest.

Ready, Set, Shoot.

Last week Branden and I went out with my beautiful sister Alyssa and just did a mini senior photo session with her. Just to get to know our camera and have some fun with it. Branden is quite the photographer. I swear there is nothing that boy can't do!
While we were out we decided to take some maternity photos. Here are a few of our my favorites!

I just love him!

I promise you soon I will quit plastering this blog with pictures of me. Just give me a few more weeks and I will still have a ton of pictures to post, just of a cuter creature(:
Even though Alyssa and Branden are pretty cute as well!

Thirty-Six Weeks

Wow, only four weeks left...
Back in July I felt like this baby was never going to actually come, now I am just twenty-nine short days away from my due date!
I wanted to document this pregnancy and take the cute little pictures in front of the chalkboard week by week and just be that cute and artsy girl, but lets be honest I am not that girl. But hey, I tried. Heres to hoping I get better when baby is actually here! Anyways here are some scattered weekly 'bump' pictures I did manage to get.

Sorry these first three were taken on an iPhone so they may not be the best quality.

Then I went a little over board with these last pictures.
So here is a little 'Bump Date'

How far along: 36 weeks!
Next Doctor's Appointment: Wednesday, March 4th

Baby Size: A large cantaloupe {19-20 inches, 6 pounds}
*side note this is according to my app, not sure how accurate it really is haha

Weight gain: 28 lbs

Maternity clothes: I finally bought maternity pants a week or two ago and they are heaven! So much better then the rubber band trick! I have a few maternity shirts, but mostly I just wear oversized clothing and sweats and yoga pants(:

Stretch marks: None on my tummy, but definitely some in other areas!

Sleep: It was great until last week! I have been having crazy bad insomnia, and then when I am finally able to sleep I have to get up and go potty. There is no winning!

Gender: Sweet little boy, Jaxon James Willis!
*this could possibly change, but for now this is his name(:

Movement: Oh he is a very active boy! He really favors my left side and my hips.

Best moment this week: Getting the house clean and sort of packed and all Jaxon's stuff organized and put away! To say I have been nesting is an understatement!
Looking forward to: Meeting our sweet boy and having a reason to be up all night!
Food cravings: Donuts, Cheddar Cheese, and Oranges

Anything making you queasy or sick: No.

Labor Signs: Not really, some Braxton Hicks here and there, but that is all for now.

What I miss: Sushi! All I want is a delicious Philly Roll!

Symptoms: Some usual discomfort that comes with the body preparing for labor as well as insomnia. Oh and being hungry ALL the time.

Nursery: We will be moving soon after he is born so it is not yet set up, but we have all the stuff!

Belly Button in or out? Oh it has been out since I was 10 weeks!

Wedding rings on or off? On and no swelling at all (very thankful).

Mood: So excited and anxious and tired!

Lets see if I can keep this up for the next four weeks.
ahhh only FOUR weeks!!
